Insurance & financing
What this will cost you — before you commit.
The single most common question before booking is "do you take my plan?" Here is a straight answer, and a phone number that will verify it in a few minutes.
PPO plans
Lakeshore Dental is a preferred provider for many dental insurance companies. Call with your card in hand and we will verify your coverage and your remaining annual maximum.
Children's Medicaid
Accepted — a real access difference in this neighbourhood, and one that the practice's old site buried on a back page.
Payment & financing
Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. CareCredit is available for larger treatment plans and can spread cost over months.
Placeholder — carrier list pending Dr. Ali's confirmation. The practice's current website states that it is a PPO preferred provider for "many dental insurance companies, including children's Medicaid," but names no carrier anywhere. Naming the carriers is the single highest-value trust element this site can add — patients search for their insurer by name.
Before launch, this page should list the exact accepted plans, for example: Delta Dental of Minnesota, Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, Guardian, United Concordia, BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota, HealthPartners. None of those are confirmed and none are shown as accepted above — they are examples of what belongs here once Dr. Ali supplies the real list.
How billing works here
We verify before your visit
Give us your plan details when you book and we check coverage, waiting periods and your remaining annual maximum.
You get a written estimate
For anything beyond a routine cleaning, you see the estimated insurance payment and your out-of-pocket amount before treatment begins.
We file the claim
We submit to your carrier directly. For big cases we can send a pre-determination first so there is no guesswork.
What is left is yours
Whatever the plan does not cover is due at the visit, or spread over time with CareCredit.
Common questions
How do I find out if you take my insurance?
Call (612) 601-8993 with your card. Verification usually takes a few minutes, and you will know your coverage before you book.
What if my plan is out of network?
Many plans still pay a share out of network. We will estimate what your plan will pay and what you would owe, so you can decide with real numbers.
Do you offer payment plans?
CareCredit financing is accepted, which can split treatment into monthly payments — often interest-free for a promotional period, subject to their approval and terms.
Do you have a membership plan for uninsured patients?
Not currently. If that would help you, say so when you call — the practice is evaluating it.
Do you take adult Medicaid or MinnesotaCare?
The practice's published materials specify children's Medicaid. Please call to confirm adult program coverage — we do not want to promise something on a website that turns out not to apply to your case.
